"Thank you so much for yesterday. The children all had a fantastic time. It was lovely to see even the quietest of pupils become so animated and involved in your sessions. Also it was interesting to watch the 'cool' Year 6's drop their guards and throw themselves into the activities with such gusto! " Aldford Primary, Chester.

Bishop Heber School, Chester
"Just a brief letter to say thank you for the input of your team into Activity Week at Bishop Heber. Could you please pass on our sincere thanks to Neil, who did an absolutely amazing job of both entertaining and instructing the pupils (and Staff!!) with his Circus Skills workshops on Monday. The Year 9 pupils involved in the workshops really enjoyed themselves and took away some great memories of the day. They learnt some valuable and useful lessons and can hopefully put these to productive use in the future. There were very many positive feedback comments about the day, both from pupils and staff, who also enjoyed the activities. Once again, thank you to you and Neil for your time and enthusiasm and we hope that you can be involved again in future years”
Upton Priory School, Macclesfield, Cheshire.
"I would like to express my gratitude to all at Circus Sensible for the Fantastic day you gave everyone at Upton Priory. The children thoroughly enjoyed every second. The children and their diabolo's have transformed playtimes, with the children happily sharing and teaching each other new tricks. It has given them a focus and activity during chill time. I cannot thank you enough for the entertainment and promotion of simple skills and basic fun Circus Sensible have introduced to the children. Thank you"

To end the day we can all get together in the school hall again so that some of the children can show off their new skills.
"Complex tasks such as juggling produce significant changes to the structure of the brain, according to scientists at Oxford University. In the journal, Nature Neuroscience, the scientists say they saw a 5% increase in white matter - the cabling network of the brain." In brief, learning a new skill such as Juggling can hard wire our brains to work better and faster! Circus skills help develop and improve concentration skills. This is particularly evident in those children with shorter attention spans. When we run Circus skills workshops in schools the teachers are often amazed that one or more children who usually have a problem concentrating are doing better than anyone else in the class! Learning Circus skills also offers great benefits in terms of physical co-ordination and physical fitness. Circus workshops fit very well into the school curriculum under PE and co-ordination development. In fact there are many areas where Circus workshops offer great opportunities for curriculum enrichment.
