“ I just wanted to say an absolutely massive thank you for helping to organise today and tell you how amazing the performers were. Every single adult and child in school had the most amazing day with memories that will last them forever. The performers were so good with the children and extremely polite and professional. “

“ just thought I would take the time to let you know about our Big Top experience was on Monday......... IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andy and Oliver did you proud. They were great with the children and staff from the start to the end of the day. We laughed, cried {at some of there bad jokes} but loved the whole experience.
The show they put on at the beginning was brilliant and enjoyed by all. They then taught the children a whole range of skills and learnt every childs name by the end of the day!
We had a parent show at 2pm {our first experience of inviting parents to a school event for 18 months!} and the turn out was incredible. All parents and grandparents joined in working with the children and the performance lasted about 80 minutes! The feedback from parents was just so good and my staff had one of the best days they have ever had!

Please can this be sent to the boss/owner of the company as I think you all deserve some credit for making this day so memorable! “

" I just wanted to say a huge thank-you to Circus Sensible and particularly Gary, our entertainer, for keeping the children amused all afternoon from 2pm to 5pm at our cold and windy Platinum Jubilee village picnic in Shelley! He was brilliant – and allowed any number of children to join each of his workshops – and he kept up the pace and the banter all afternoon! The event was a great success for those that braved the weather – and it was all down to Gary who turned the afternoon into pure sunshine! Please pass on our grateful thanks to him, and to your company for seamless booking and support! We wouldn’t hesitate to book you again! "

“ I'd  just like to e mail to say what an amazing job your team did over the last few days. The lads were superb and all our staff were so impressed by their enthusiasm and teaching skills. Even our more reluctant students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and made great progress.
Thanks again and we are really looking forward to seeing you again in August, this time with the big top on the field. Please do use me as a reference should you need to on any publicity.”

"We had a fabulous day on Tuesday when Circus Sensible came to our school. All the children from Nursery to Year 6 were catered for and had a great time. The show was hilarious, the children and staff were active participants and even a show for the parents after school too. Will definitely book them again. Thank you very much for a fab day :-) "

The Science of Circus

"Complex tasks such as juggling produce significant changes to the structure of the brain, according to scientists at Oxford University.
In the journal, Nature Neuroscience, the scientists say they saw a 5% increase in white matter - the cabling network of the brain." In brief, learning a new skill such as Juggling can hard wire our brains to work better and faster! Circus skills help develop and improve concentration skills. This is particularly evident in those children with shorter attention spans. When we run Circus skills workshops in schools the teachers are often amazed that one or more children who usually have a problem concentrating are doing better than anyone else in the class! Learning Circus skills also offers great benefits in terms of physical co-ordination and physical fitness. Circus workshops fit very well into the school curriculum under PE and co-ordination development. In fact there are many areas where Circus workshops offer great opportunities for curriculum enrichment.

Autistic children have been observed to respond particularly well to Circus skills in schools. Circus skills are an opportunity for children and adults to discover and develop skills such as Concentration, Information retention, Concept visualisation, hand eye co-ordination and self awareness.
